Still here! Been keeping busy working at the port in 90 degree temps with 90% humidity. So glad for the hotel swimming pool and the European women by it! Been hard to stay focused on the job, I've been playing it cool, but I'm going out tonight. There's a Volkswagen van out front of the hotel covered in neon lights, blasting techno, and selling double shots of any booze for $1. Seems legit right? They told me to experience the culture while I'm here.. I'm going in!

So the techno blasting, neon covered, shot selling Volkswagen van was a great idea! I was given liberty call until I leave Sunday. About to go check out a buddhist temple and other touristy stuff.

Spent the morning at an orphanage for Thai children that are living with HIV/AIDS. I've spent the last 5 years of my life devoting myself to helping others. I've seen my share of things, but this was something special. This is a pic of me with Lot, a 7 year old with HIV. I don't have to speak her language to see how intelligent she is. Enjoying my last full night in Thailand, about to go see a muay Thai fight. My bet is on the guy with a unibrow!

Just realized how puffy my eyes are in that pic. Stayed up waaaay too late last night. Liberty call right? Nobody told me we had commrel at 0930 the next day until 0830 that morning, lol. Oh well, I'd do it again on no sleep.

Y'all don't realize how hard it is and how much pain those kids experience. It is truly heartbreaking. Though meds today can have a 97% chance of birth without it.
