Not when you have kids. Halloween encompasses the entire month of October these days for me.

That's true...we had the Halloween Parade last Saturday night, Halloween parties today at school, trick-or-treat this Friday....does it end?!?

My physics club is having a Halloween event in the park for the kids around town. We do things like touch a Van de Graff, hold out a metal candy bowl, and laugh.

Then afterwards there's a fun after party for the older people.

hehe yup yup - we had a combined Birthday/Halloween Party last Sat for Anira's son. Was much fun

The moon looked cool, Venus and Jupiter won't be in those alignments again for another 54 years. Only Meth will see it again. And maybe Jakt too.

Rather than make my own thread I just thought I'd throw this in here since it mentioned the moon.

Since Watsyurdeal mentioned it---here's the photo I took the other night of the moon, Venus and Jupiter. It was 35 degrees and the winds were 40 knots---so standing outside with a tripod would've been miserable. So I took this from my truck as it got buffeted around---it's not as sharp as I'd like it--but pretty nonetheless....
