Thread: Alien Swarm for Free on Steam.

This looks awesome and Valve releasing this for free really came out of no where. Its a source engine, top-down co-op shooter. Watch the video and then give it a try on Monday, you can't beat the price!

The original mod for UT2004 is what got the people behind L4D hired at Valve just over two years ago. Glad to see they got their original baby to mature and more on the game market. That should give you an idea of how the gameplay will be.

Hmm, are we able to host servers? This might be worth test bedding since it uses source.
