Fuck Punkbuster

Jesus Christ. Is it just me, or does Punkbuster always find a way in all of its games to SCREW YOU OVER. PR: "Oh, what's that Wraith? You're about to lead a squad. waiting two hours for the last game to end to do so? You're going to lead your team to victory through competence? Kicked, MD5 error."

AA3: "What's that, Wraith? You just got your computer fixed and want to relax playing the TTP server you've been waiting for? Oh, wait, the auto-updater's fucked to Hell, you'll have to update manually."

Okay, so I'm sitting in spec, wondering why the fuck I can't join a team, so I ask. Someone says, "Go to evenbalance.com. Support section." So I do. I go to the downloads page. It says "Put client files in binaries/pb/htm folder" so I do. Download complete. Ya, trouble's over! I log back on to AA3 and rejoin the server. I can't fucking join a team. I'm typing help in the console like the PB message thing told me too, to validate, and I'm getting fucked up by a WALL of error messages about PB being out of date. What the flying fuck? I just fucking updated your shitty-ass program two minutes ago just like the fucking way you said. What more do you fucking want?! So I try this twice more, with the same fucking result, so just fuck it.

The fucking help guide is shit, like all help guides are. What the fuck do I do? I'm tired of having to jump through fucking twelve hoops suspended twenty feet in the air and ringed with fire for this fucking program. So please, someone just walk me through it, like I'm retarded. Because this god-forsaken program makes me feel retarded.

download pbsetup.exe from evenbalence > run it > add AA3 > update > you can join a team.

Also, make sure you have the most updated version of PBsetup.. you can find it here in the downloads section, or from the evenbalance.com site

Ugh. Haven't tried AA3 yet, but it's already loaded and waiting for my Fallout 3 addiction to wear off.

Not pleased to find out it runs with Punkbuster. As if I didn't get enough shit from those assfucks with 2142.

To be honest I've had no problems with PB its with BF2 PR I've had massive issues with PB....

My PB.exe program doesnt have AA3 in the list. And i too cant join teams.

Never mind, i guess their website decided to put 3 infront of there AA3 version. Before they only had ALL AA PB VERSIONS. Well thats what showed up for me.
