Am I missing something?

I bought Arma II + expansion just for this mod, so far i like the game play and the idea of it. Something new and fresh . What i dont like are the graphics,so my question is am i missing something here?
A HD texture pack or something? I got two 7970 in CF and running everything on very high ,but somehow when i see some of the videos on the net ,it seems like something is wrong with my graphics, they are all blurry and not very sharp.
I will post some screenshots later .

If you purchase the DLC's it adds high quality textures that aren't found in the light versions.

You can try out the DLC in the SP Scenarios. Pretty rough sketches.

i bought it on Steam, so idk is that the one you are talking about Smoken? And Sauso the res is matching my LCD screen resolution.

I mean in your video settings. Match your interface resolution and 3d resolution... Night and day difference.

No he's talking about Arma 2: Private Military Company and Arma 2: British Armed Forces both are DLC and you can get them for less than $20.00

No i dont have those, i never tried the ARMA II multiplayer,just bought it for Day Z.
Do those two DLC have anything to add to the gameplay? Not some extra missions because i am not gona play those anyway!

They just add improved textures. Especially to the different skins or clothing of the players
