As for texas based clans, I don't know if any are solely "Texan" though BigTex may come close. But there are a lot of Texans on TPG and they are interspersed through many different clans and the unclanned.
Check out the Map here (in need of slight update...sorry, I will get to it soon) to see who might be in your area.

Not everyone here is Texan. Take me, for example. I'm from Colorado. Most clans here have players from all around the US. The major 2142 clans are Victrix and 5th. I myself am an avid 2142 player as well, and i am glad to see that i'm not the only one out there who still loves this game with a passion.

Welcome to the forums and to TPG.

As others have said - there are a few clans here that specialize in 2142 (5th and VTRX and BD primarily). Others, like HRD, SsT, and IRON have a few members that jump in every now and then.

Some of us are in Texas, but none of the clans here restrict membership by location.

Welcome. Check out the stickies if you haven't already done so. There's also a priming stickie so if you plan on getting on the server and need help getting it going just post there and back up should arrive in short order.
