some servers have it set so that beacons can't be killed, that's all

If Friendly-Fire is off, you can't kill a friendly beacon with bullets. It may just be missing the friendly green tag. Also. There are times when the beacon clips into a texture and becomes invulnerable to bullets. Snow on NS maps is infamous for this.

ty, i'll tend so say that it clips in the titan. It was an hostile beacon and was the only one we couldn't destroy on the titan.

some servers just have it so no beacons can be killed, FF on or not, but if you were able to kill other hostile ones, then that does sound buggy

Meth, if that's the case they are running a modified server. There is no setting in server settings that controls beacon behavior.

I've seen it on a few servers before... When I got frustrated after trying to kill it I dropped my med box on top of it.

yeah, I don't know what they do to set it, WileE, but servers like DIG (dorman) would have it that way

Weird. May research this further. May be settings that aren't selectable in 2142CC.

...? you can neutralize a beacon only by putting a medic box on it?
