    "737" on SF server

It's rough playing 60 people on those "small" SF maps ... especially in the dark!

However, I had an interesting time last night as I ended up joining a squad that went by the name of "737." At first I was a little taken aback, I didn't know these folks before but their intensity and teamwork was infectious. The SL delivered clear and concise orders. He was always thanking his squadmates and doing his best to recognize everyone at every stage of the game. Difficult to do well for any squad leader for any length of time, imho. The SL promised me enough beers by the end of the night that I am looking forward to that case arriving on the doorstep soon!

The 737 SL even reprimanded me (the first time I was in his squad last night) on one occasion where I inadvertantly split away from the squad and capped another flag. I wasn't too happy with that, but in retrospect I do understand. Anyway, after that I jumped into the Commander chair ... as I was not pleased with him and our team was about to be creamed (having played for 5-10 min w/out a Comm ... didn't notice sooner/too busy fighting the nme). It was not long as Commander before I recognized how valuable 737 was. That squad was the best and set an awesome example for the other players. Wouldn't you know it, we turned a losing effort into an 8/6 point win! :6

Bottom line, if you see some guys on the server with the 737 squad/tag, join them ... they are a good bunch. The SL told me he wasn't a clan, just a group of friends made on the REAL team. I invited him to visit us more, but I think they were just looking to have fun.

I hope I have a chance to play with 737 again in the near future.

My goal is to succeed in any mission - and live to succeed again.
God grant that I may not be found wanting, that I will not fail this sacred trust.

    there are many other servers
... NONE like TPG, the epicenter of team play!

I know last night I joined their squad on Devil's Perch, but I instantly had a problem with my NVG's. I should have asked what key it was over mic, but I died then hopped to options real quick to find it (I have it remapped to my mouse but it wasn't working)...and that's all it took. Sorry about that incident last night.

    I Have Specs, Will I Have L4D?

    AMD Athlonll QuadCore X4 620
    2.6Ghz Quad Core.
    500GB Hard Drive, 16MB Cache
    4GB DDR2 RAM
    nVidia GeForce 8200, DX10, PS 4.0
    1 PCI-E Slot.

It can run Crysis apparently, so how will it run Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2? Bit unrelated, but do you know about Mirror's Edge as well?
