Parenthood and Playing BF3 follow up

So, I've played and played and played, and eventually determined that even with crap weapons and essential gadgets still unlocked, I can still be pretty good without them.

There are still some essentials I need to unlock:
Mortars
SOFLAM
Javelin

I'm having a hard time leveling my Recon guy, because I just can't quite get down the sights.
I also have a hard time enjoying the Support class. I finally unlocked extended mags for the M249 which makes it a bit more usable. Unfortunately, my style of play isn't well suited to it... and I can't fire steadily with the machine guns.

I also recently made the late-night stupid decision to buy a GTX570...
As for parenting, I've been doing a great job as a dad... and playing at night... and not sleeping.
So, I'm pretty tired...

I try to have some days where I go to sleep before 11 and not game at all.

Sometimes being a grown up with responsibilities sucks, but being a parent is fun.

    Being a parent is a large responsibility that requires a lot of time management....It is without a doubt the most rewarding responsibility I have ever had..

    Thats right. A few years of suffering and you never have to mow the lawn again. And cleaning dishes? forget about it!



    Oh theres also that love and attention they shower on you but compared to the lawn thing its negligible.

    Obviously the most difficult thing is balancing my time... Games are obviously the lowest priority for me (which is what it should be for EVERY parent, and if it's not *tsk tsk*)

    I know parents that will just sit and play WoW while they're kids play alone behind them... I can't do that... if my kid is awake, I can't play. that's my rule.

    I will never regret giving up game time, work or anything for my twins...best thing that ever happened me and my greatest accomplishment ever
