Thread: So.. i gamed MW2 today.

i spent about 4 hours on mw2 today on xbox.... heres my thoughts.

the good.

Looks great, weapons look sweet.

the maps are HUGE!!! they are like 4 x's are big as cod4 maps. kinda like the large maps on WaW.

interface is good, perks are awesome, leveling was fun, not just something you have to do to complete so you can have good kits.

The bad.

when they say consoles are 12 year old kids they are not kidding, and they let you know.."omg we got some old perv on our team"..."STFu ole'fatty you suck!!!" "gtg my moms bitching" just some of the stuff i heard there was much more.

find games is easy yeah...but keeping a game full is hard. the player turn over is crazy.

streak attacks IE: UAV etc...to easy to get and to powerful.

you can always tell the host, cause of his K/d is the high because of ping advantage

they game will no longer drop if host leaves, but all of the losing team will leave game in the 5 seconds it searches for another host. this may happen a few times, and it may happen so much it stupid. most ppl wanna be host thou.

they ugly

HIT BOXES are a joke they are H U G E!!!!!!!! NO skilled needed I was raping just by standing still and just firing when someone walked in front of me never had to down site. fars i can tell the only thing that makes a player good is know the maps and camping like senior citizens.

it was boring, large maps not enough ppl, and all of them camping.

its was all TDM, FFA. even though there is 7 game modes the only thing I could find was tdm of FFA

I just got MW2 and im installing right now. Took me all day to get it at gamestop. I hope i dont have to deal with the 12 year olds on the PC verison. And i hope my CD key is ligit, last time i installed a game was BF2 and the CD key took me a long ass time to fix. Tell me, how team orrianted is this game?

ya, one of the girls boyfriends ran out and bought it. I watched for awhile but except for the cartoony nature of all the popup boxes flying around i didnt see much difference from MW1

Ill steal it and run through the 5 hours of single play and be glad it wasnt my money.

and there isnt any team play - its as purely team death match as game modes could be objectives seeming to be a distraction.

I am interested in the co-op mode, it sounds cool but otherwise what I watched was pure random anarchy.

so in other words...a giant steamy pile of shit with a couple of random roses poking out right?

thats what ive been saying about console gaming when we were debating whether opening this forum.


there is no teamplay in consoles. unless you are playing with people you know, you will never find teamplay

Ive never thought any differently, which means nearly 100% of games with a console focus; meaning pretty much any and all since that is where the money is, will not live up to to TTP standards.
