Could QS ever be a reversed rule?

    Hey guys n gals,

Figured i'd ask this simply because im curious. I'm still trying to get used to the whole non-qs rules on this server...coming from league play makes it difficult, lol.

Why is QS still not allowed? like bigdog has posted in his sticky, the exploit has been fixed and there is very little of a difference in reload times if any at all. For me, it's more of a deal because when your pickin somewhere and your zoomed in you can't see the whole area, given i only use the first zoom 98% of the time, but its the fact that you shoot, go to your pistol and you have the whole area visible so you can see where a guy might be pokin around, switchback and pop him.

I'm not starting a pissing war or trying to fight the rules, just curious to know if the rule could ever be overturned? It'd bring alot better players in to give more people fierce competition.

From your description, it doesn't sound like you fully understand what is bannable, and what quickswitching really is. "This means if you have a sniper rifle, and you shoot, then hit q twice in rapid succession, you will be banned."

This issue has been discussed at length before. You'll find your answers in this thread:

Pay close attention to Panic's first post with bigdog's quotes.

neither is acceptable. It would be the same as if you tried to bunny hop. Doesn't matter if the advantage of bunny hopping is gone. The mere fact that you are doing it indicates you are a cheater, that you enjoy cheating, that you look up cheats, or all of the above.

The only reason you do it is because you either used to be a cheater, you support cheating, you are a cheater, or you frequent outdated cheating websites. None of that is my, or TTP's problem.
Thus, the chances of the rule being reversed is nil.

    Locked.

I highly doubt it will ever be overturned... I know where you coming from, but its just the mentality of the whole thing.

Once a cheater, always a cheater.
