Re: Dust lag
most likely your HDR setting is turned to On. With this on, if the map has HDR effects it will show them. If you don't have a good card it will lag you. Also make sure your rates match the servers. 66 66 30000

If your video card is the issue, then you may have to updgrade or try to lower the settings some.

Re: Dust lag
It might not be your network settings if its only one map, it could be a graphics issue since you've stated your ping stays low. Unfortunately the engine for CS:S is very graphics card dependent unlike TF2 and other HL based games that utilize dual cores and pass on more game data to to the CPU. People typically can play games like BF2 and COD4 and get much better FPS than on CS:S, so you might be limited by your system and will need to either upgrade or downgrade the graphics via a FPS config. It would help if you post your system specs so we know exactly what your working with.

Re: Dust lag
Are you talking ping or frames per second? I would think that if the BF2 server and the CS:S server are both in dallas then you should get a similar ping to each.

Can you run a netgraph 3 and then give us a screen shot of a few different maps the next time you play? Also posting your computer stats and network cfg (rate, updaterate, cmdrate) as well as any FPS boosting cfgs you are running would be helpful to rule them out.
