    But what if you don't? or if you lose the site and they aren't defusing yet or are close to? Then watching the flank becomes a pointless matter and everyone hates you. (Not you though Fajita, everyone likes you )

    RawrKitty: The strategy you speak of, is the actual way a slow play is suppose to happen. It's gotten better on the servers, but that call comes down to designating an area to hold. And a few people work their way out until a weak point is met and they call the team over to plant. Though this play often ends off with flank watchers, and it is very common those watchers miss out on defending the bomb on time. When the team calls that weak point, everyone has to hit the site. This doesn't mean everyone runs for the ball -- just that once the area you are covering is clear of friendly's , you move on to the site too. Covering only yourself is not covering, it's camping, and possibly missing out on covering the site.
    I know it's the same premise, but it basically ends up being "do whatever you want without rushing until we make a call". Areas are left uncovered and we get creamed with no warning =/.


    On a bright side, on contra last night we ended up getting 12 rounds against a majorly stacked ct team just by keeping 1-2 people on the flank...then my game crashed because of this retarded memory leak the last patch introduced... =/

    I did a mix of what Civil does and what I normally do...we usually ended up having problems if I just told the 2 people with a b spawn to chill in mid/lower a to pick out flankers than if I called out say butta and hIds to smoke/flash b and hold connector for the flank. It may have helped more if people know the map very well...half the shit I called out people were like...huh? but it worked out anyways.
