Went to buy some gear for my barb. There were lots of good, cheap options with exactly what I wanted. Went to buy one...it times out. I check my completed list and nothing is there; so, I refresh the search, and sure enough, someone had bought it. This happened 5 times in row. Then, things freeze up (lag in the AH), and all of a sudden my gold is seriously depleted. I check my completed...every item is there...dsifwioehgiahrgouahouigdhasd. At least it was only lv18 gear, even if it was on the hardcore AH.

That's because for right now (can't remember the reason), they've disabled commodities.

Probably because it's badly implemented. Maybe they are fixing how it just draws from a pool, and 95% of the time someone has already bought what you're looking at

i can buy gems all day.

in fact i think the AH makes it wayy to easy to tiwnk out, for less then 80k i got all th gear i needed for most of nightmare. and thats with two orange.

you dont really find your own gear, just stuff to sell to buy gear. somehow that takes away somthing for me.

hardcore should disable AH items =X

the suppy is much higher then demand. people just want extra quick gold to go buy what they want. so they fire sale everything. so it sells fast.

shoot, if i wanna sell somthing at all it has to be super cheap.

Duping, really. Well that sounds like a great way to farm enough gold for my hell pony staff. Would you care to share your secret. Otherwise I'm inclined to believe you just think it's a problem. I've been watching the ah legs and still haven't seen identicals or the sets I'm looking at. Dupes would also tend towards a lower price point, as the market would be flooded with high value items and sellers would have to drop prices in order to draw business. If any thing is a problem it's the session hackers, and the fact that people are already writing bots to farm. I'm sure there is some exploit to system and dupe considering the volume of game, the largely un polished nature, and the huge cut back in previously expected features ( now likely slated for an expansion pack) whose code is likely still accessible....

I'd almost love to see duping. Because then I could farm up gear for the classes and keep all my tpg brothers geared as they leveled. But that would be wrong
