A good friend of mine started making youtube content, mostly minecraft but other games as well. So if you want some minecraft footage to watch give him a chance, the content seems to be up to snuff from the 10 or so videos I have watched so far.

This looks like the video my daughter was watching on her xbox today. I walked in and was surprised to see her watching a dayz video. She plays minecraft and was looking at minecraft videos and stumbled upon a dayz video.

I'll tell my daughter to check it out.

hehe she used to play BF2 here 3-4 years ago. She still remembers playing with jeep. I never really said anything because she was still young and I didn't let her have a mic. I won't mention names, but there were certain people's squads (me being one lol) I didn't want her in because of the language.

She now plays Black Ops and Minecraft on the 360. Her computer gaming days are over. Consoles won.

She was just begging me to pre-order Black Ops 2 a little bit ago.

Well I got bit by the bug as well I am doing a lets play for a mod I have liked for a longish time called thaumcraft. I am already 3-4 episodes into the series.

So ya I have been busy learning how to use fraps and recording and doing my amateur editing. Its been fun and a little frustrating, but a good distraction from my normal gaming sessions.

I was planning on taking off two weeks from the game just to hedge my chances of getting burnt out on it. Now that I have been doing this I might be gone a little longer but I did need a break I was neck deep in dayz for almost a month straight.

That's because dayz is nothing but a time sink. It's like grinding the first few levels of everquest or world of warcraft... FOREVER...

Thumbs up description! Are there people out there who still play Minecraft on a regular basis? Is there a common server you play on? If not, I could set something up on my server at home.
