Thread: Most addictive game?

Curiosity question more then anything; popped up in my mind after having one of those "just one more" moments playing Anno 1404 (Dawn of Discovery) last night. Normally, hell almost always I'd say almost any game in the Civilization series is the most addictive game out there. Civilization IV was where I got my feet wet and I spent many a nights getting a couple hours of sleep after saying "one more turn, then I'll go to bed" (then again 4 hours later).

But, having so far found another game that manages to do the same, despite having very little in common, I'm curious what else is out there that captivates enough to make you never want to stop playing? For me, right now, there are only 3 in the running; the two mentioned in the paragraph above as well as the Football Manager games (Well, when things are going well). Really can't decide between Civ and Anno 1404, but if forced I'd likely lean towards Civilization just because I've played it longer and I know it isn't just a "phase."

Anyways, what game(s) do you find to be the most addictive games for you and (preferably) why?

DayZ- The rush of PVP is extraordinary, and Beans.

Super meat boy, if its not totally pissing me off, and roller coaster tycoon is strangely addictive too.

As far as mp games, its the people not the games haha. I'll stay up all night playing css if the right people are on.
