    Bad news

Server is chomping way tooo much resources at the moment, was causing super heavy lag with the other servers, its down for now. Ima have to do some heavy trial and error tomorrow to find a solution. But i wager the best one will involve restarting the map. We need to be careful on it, Server's eating 1.4gb of RAm alone loading the map guys...

does that mean, uh, deleting everything? is there a way to limit the map edges or something?

I hope it doesn't come down to a map reset. I think that would be the end of my time in minecraft for a good long while.

Same here. It's fun and all, but not enough fun to have to start it all over.

If we did have to start over maybe we could all just work on one gigantic thing instead of spread out all over? Might be more fun that way, dunno.

might be better, the maps so freaking huge at the moment, that its unfair that the server is monopolizes resources from all the other games. Whats worse is that most of that space goes unused and was just created during exploration. Additionally Many build houses, structures that really, ultimately never get used.

Guys i am not sure what to tell you, we went from using less than 100mb in memory (full server) to 1.8gb's IDLE (NO ONE IN THE SERVER).

See if you can find a limiter for the map size and see if we can actually delete some of the space we are not using on the map.

I'd probably stop playing as well. Not worth doing it all over again, and personalized houses are what makes it fun for me. If anything, needs a map limiter, or some way to limit the amount of blocks on a map. Maybe do not let people explore the map anymore, there's an ass ton of space as it is.
