Thread: Skyrim glitch help

Im stuck in an elevator that keeps "reelevatoring" i guess, meaning im where the switch is that makes the elevator happen and every second and I cant even hit tab or escape to make it stop. It overwrote all my autosaves in seconds so I cant go back to anything recent please help or ill lose a day of gameplay.
I can get console up and ive tried coc but it makes me go to the place and then right back to the elevator again...

lol ha just go back dude your not gonna fix that if u tried everything. its just a day not much.

um... I don't really get what is your problem... are you "stuck" in the elevator? if thats the case, type TCL in the command menu to disable collision and you should be able to get out of there

*SEMISPOILERS* Im doing main quest in a Dwelmer ruin and there is an elevator that acts like a door when you fip a switch and it brings you back to the surface. But its glitching as that moment you come out of the elevator and acts like i clicked the switch again but stays on the same level and repeats.
Unless someone knows some super cool fix i can do, i do think i just have to go back to last save

If I were you I would go back to the last save just to make sure I dont loose it.

You really should F5 quicksave...I do it like every 2 minutes lol

my last save is a F5 quicksave but unfortunately all my autosaves were overwritten in seconds because it acted like i was entering a room over and over..
looks like im going to have to redo 2 Dedra shrines and a few dragons and about 5 levels. Awesome.

I F5 before entering a doorway, after entering one, before engaging, after engaging, before talking to NPCs, Practically bug proof.

My only game breaking bug right now is I cant continue the Thieves guild quest line, this guy gives me a quest to talk to someone, I go talk, no quest dialogue

Seems to be a very well known bug with no fix.

After playing for a few hours i forget about it. I mostly only f5 before bosses if I just finished a long part before fighting them. But Ive learned my lesson, more f5s now!
