    disable password expirations?

I just got told my password is over 180 days old and expired. I think it's unnecessary and annoying. This isn't your email/banking/whatever account. Just sayin...
(I mean sure, I guess I could always just go in and set it back to whatever it was, except I was using the autoassigned one from the initial creation).

I had the same thing happen to me just about 10 minutes ago. Just set it back to the previous one.

most of the regulars are probably 180days old since they were autocreated during the smf -> vb cowversion

Just got mine yesterday......I think it was the 180 day, but I could be mistaken. I just set it back to what it was.

But is this a necessary feature? What does it prevent? Can we kill it?
