Except this time instead of showing the distance you killed the person at (who cares about that?), why not show the part of the body the last shot hit before you died (stolen from Fajita).

Damage menus can also be implemented for DoD since its just pulling console info, correct? I don't know about TF2. But players need to be able to turn it off in their "menu" if they don't want it.
