Flavored water helped me. The fruit20 or propel will work.

Re: addiction
I invested in an espresso machine and just have a quad or hex each morning; love me some 300+mg of caffeine. That is far more than any energy drink besides Viso ... which is itself an awesome drink since it is essentially organic fruit juice with multivitamin and caffeine, no weird proteins that are taxing on the kidneys.

Re: addiction
I've been a long time addict. Rockstar/Monster/Red Bull/Amp/you name it.
They're definitely no the healthiest drinks ever but I've recently gotten into those Xyence Xenergy drinks, the ones that sponsor UFC. They're actually alot cleaner in terms of chemical additives than some of the other brands and they taste great too.
If I'm not mistaken they have very few calories, no phosphoric acid, less sugar than others, and all the taurine and caffiene you need
frostberry blast is my favorite...
though I still sneak a Rockstar Cola and a Red bull here and there

Re: addiction
I don't see the appeal of energy drinks. All of them are disgusting.
Flowers wither into vapour.

Re: addiction
Not that I'm telling you or anyone else how to nourish themselves or anything but you shouldn't buy energy drinks period. Regardless of how much caffeine/calories/sugar/fat energy drinks have they're not good for you. Ginseng is an exception but not something that should be taken on the regular.
If you're relying on energy drinks to get you through your day then you're feeding yourself poorly. Not that you have expressed this, but juicing yourself full of caffeine isn't a great idea.
Just my opinion, but take it with a grain of salt because its coming from someone that rarely drinks caffeinated beverages.

Buy a Coffee machine, and some stevia, maybe some chocolate. And Soy Milk.
