Re: People bash America, Religion, and the military on facebook.
I posted this on here too make sure that I wasn't alone in my sentiment. As I thought, I am not. I endure because, unbeknownst too you, I have a ton of patience, so I can put up with this crap. He's at perfect liberty to say whatever he wants, cause it's a free country, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. And, he's not just some dude I know on the interent, I know him in real life, and he spouts this stuff all the time in real life too. It's just more irritating on facebook because then this crap appears on my feed.

So, you're just passively aggressively dealing with him. Why do you never let him know IRL what's up? Ask him why he thinks that? If he's so annoying to you, then why is he your friend?

Also, too everyone who says he's perfectly at liberty too say all this stuff.
He is. It's America, land of the free. Here, you're free too be whoever you want, say whatever you want, believe in whatever you want. I wouldn't say I would beat this guy up (In fact, I never did), but he's always saying how he hates this country, and how he hates this countries military. So I just don't get why, instead of constantly complaining about it, he doesn't either A: Get out and do something about it or B: Move to a different country. The man doesn't vote, doesn't participate in politics at all, because his stance is that there is no point, because he is just one man, and there's not a lot he can do about it, and in any case, the whole system is corrupt to the core.

Well, one, I rarely ever see him nowadays. So it's more of an aquaintence right now, really. And why I just don't ask him what's up? I dunno, I just don't really see any point too it, because he tends to shut everyone out frequently, and ignore other views when you do talk to him, so I never even tried.

It's become the United States of we can say whatever we want whenever we want and we should be praised for the independence/non conformity.
Well, I don't buy it.
I would kick his ass, and guess what, I wouldn't go to jail for breaking laws. I would be praised for teaching this ignorant fuck a life lesson that he should have learned a long time ago.

Re: People bash America, Religion, and the military on facebook.
Hey, that's great about the patience thing.
Also, 'unbeknownst.' I like that word. There's this thing I'm noticing more and more over the last couple years where people are adding an -st to words in ways that haven't been common usage for a while. Like 'while.' I keep seeing people write "whilst", and it's driving me nuts. I hate that. It seems so affected and artificial. (obviously I'm talking about 'while' as a conjunction, not as a noun or verb)
But unbeknownst isn't like that. It doesn't ring false to me. I have no idea why it's an exception.
... and about that guy. Like I said - whatever it is that's put you off, I hope it works out.
Cheers,
AetheLove

This is the same guy everyone knows that doesn't appreciate the things people do. He probably doesn't tip his wait staff, probably litters, lacks in selfless acts, and he's just looking for that little thumbs up icon so he can feel appreciated.
The kid needs his ass beat or he needs a life changing event. Perhaps he should join the military and finally understand what it means to be a part of something that has meaning.

I see. So , you would act like a bully. "Don't believe what I believe? Well, I'm gonna beat you up...Merica." You could try and change his mind with words and meaningful actions rather than act like a little spoiled child when someone doesn't do what he wants. Even if the trial ended up being a sham, he would still win the civil case where he sued you. Saying "I'm gonna beat you up" on the interwebs is childish and a load of hot air. Act your age.

Than drop him on FB. It's not like he's your mom or something. If he's bringing you so much misery and your waiting for that perfect moment, then just drop him. If he really shuts out other people who think differently, then your perfect moment will just validate his own views. In other words, your words will be futile...or you could just drop him like a bad habit, and move on with your life without having to deal with him.
