Poor AK has been gone too long to realize that that server is long gone. AK, Im sure that many of us have extra components sitting around. Post up, maybe you can find someone with an extra GPU or CPU.

well thanks to aggie i have an extra 8800 just laying around, since i swapped his comp with a better spare card i had laying around at QC last year

The 2142 Server is gone?! Wtf...that server used to kick every other games ass on server population. With the exception of CS.

As for my comp its got

8600GTS
ASUS P5LD2 mobo
4gig ram
Windows XP
Intel Pentium D 2.80 Cpu

Not sure if thats going to run any newer games or not.

Well is this setup going to run any of the newer games? This CPU and mobo is a replacement after my original CPU overheated and grenaded my first ASUS mobo.

bf3 minimum recommendation is an 8800 and a 2.4ghz dual core processor so you might be able to pull it off way low but I dont know, what else are you looking to run, I feel like that would do TF2 fine but I don't know a lot about this stuff.

It always ran TF2 just fine.
