Damn, Vol. That sucks.

I live in the springs and we've been keeping up with the fires the whole time we've been in NC on vacation. Where would they evacuate you too?

Watched the lightning coming in today... of course it had to happen. We have enough going on dammit! I am sorry to hear about this for you, and I really hope you don't need to be evacuated. If you do, I hope it doesn't get near you or anyone for that matter. As Guyver said, stay safe.

Thanks guys. As of right now I'm not sure where I would be evacuated to. My parents live in the Springs, at a safe distance from the fire down there so I may just go stay there.

A friend of mine is in/near Boulder, and has posted pics on FB. Pretty scary looking. Hope you guys get some rain and favorable winds.

The fire in Colorado Springs looks pretty nasty. This is the view of the smoke from my parent's house. Keep in mind my parents live on the opposite side of Colorado Springs from the fire, you can see the Air force Academy in the right side in the middle of the picture. Some rain might come down tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully it's some substantial amounts.

The Boulder fire is right on the ridge of the front range. Hopefully they can keep it from moving down the mountain in to Boulder, otherwise 2500 homes will be evacuated. The wind isn't helping at all.....
