Nvidia Quadro fx580
I have someone thats willing to give me one of these cards. Its brand new but i dont know shit about it. Currently im running a geforce gt430. Which is a better card?

GT430 is faster. By about half according to passmark. Plus the quadro cards are workstation cards, not gaming cards. Stick with the 430.

Thanks. I have no interest in trying to keep up with video cards anymore.

They also have hardware level optimizations and also API optimizations and tools to allow them to run better with very specific industry applications. A $1000 Workstation card runs games like a $300 card because a gaming card is optimized for games and gaming engines.
In any case any Quadro card is a workstation card and not worth the investment for gaming unless it is very expensive; in which case you are better off with a less expensive gaming card 9as in the example above).
