Thread: Internet Access at QC

Since internet access thru the QC LAN is not likely I decided to load up Easytether onto my desktop. It is an app that I have been using for some time now on my personal laptops in conjunction with my Android based phones and though it is not the fastest thing in the world it gives me access to the web.

Outside of basic internet access I was looking to see if Steam would work using the free version and it does. So the application here would be if you forget put Steam in offline mode before bringing your system to the event it will get you logged in so that you may set it. You could also use it to get updates as long as you aren't trying to pull 100's of MB down.

I plan on having my 3G stick (and drivers) at QC as well like I did last year.

need to double check my tether and make sure it working, I may just hotspot my phone and give the pw out as needed
