Thread: Admin abuse

I was playing in the CSS server and the map was port. It was around 1:40 a.m. I think. The call was to rush boat but I went mid (sorry) so I got slayed. No problem I didnt follow the call.
But then the call was to rush silos, I spawned in the back and we all rushed silos. By the big rolls of metal that you can jump on to get to silos, everyone started dieing. So I ran out and saw a guy by the containers and threw a nade (but didnt kill him). Then two more rushed from CT spawn and I took cover in the entrance to the tunnels below silos. I came out and started to pick them off. I killed one then took cover again. There was also someone else from T covering that area. I came out and saw there still coming toward us and I killed another one. By this time I was the only one left.
Then in chat that admins use to warn people I saw a message to follow the call. Which I had clearly done because I was at silos. Then I got slayed.
I told the admin that I only had 12 hp and was taking cover. Then changing his reason by which he slayed me he said I needed to help out my team no matter if i had -9 hp. But I was clearly helping since I followed the call and had just kill 2 enemies.
Then after I died on next round I hear someone say he wants to get banned. I dont know why they would say that since I had already explained what had happened. Then the admin types again that I needed to follow the call, which as I stated I did, and apparently I hadnt understand and that needed to sit it out or something to that nature. And he slays me again at the beginning of the round.
I like the TTP servers a lot and I understand the rules. The only time I broke them was when I went mid instead of rushing boat and got slayed. I didnt say anything because I knew I hadnt followed the call.

Port is one of those maps where we enforce teamplay to the maximum, because there are so many ways players can exploit that map. I have played with you and have never had any issues with you not following the call, so I will post this in the CS admin forum and hopefully we can shed some light on this. But you need to understand that if the admin felt that you weren't rushing balls to the wall, you would be slayed for hanging back.

Tlaloc, I slayed you and with perfect reason. Let's start even before Port the same day when your purposely dropped the bomb and I called you out on it - I believe it was either D2 or Chateau.

On port specifically:

1. The call was everyone to rush boat. You went mid you said to flank. You got slayed.
2. The call was rush silos. People who actually wanted to try and protect the bomber, accomplish the mission and get the bomb planted went actually to the silos where the call was made. Instead you went underground and provided no support. You got slayed. And BTW, not everyone was dying. I made it with the bomber and two others into the site fine, so that is a poor excuse.
3. I do not recall your exact words, I may have them logged I will have to check but your were basically being a smartass after your second slay. Therefore I slayed you a third time.

You are very lucky, most of the time you would have been banned. You have a lot of balls posting an admin abuse claim for the shit you pulled, I'll give you that.

Follow the call, don't take your sweet ass time when it is an all out rush and you'll be fine.

Ok first of all the one about dropping the bomb is not true. I passed it on to someone else at the freeze/buy time and he must have drop it. I sometimes do that if I know I'm going to take a long time buying weapons.

On port

1. Like I said on the first post, I did go mid so that slayed I deserved because I didnt communicate my plans.
2. I rushed to the silos, but like I said I spawned at the back of the group. When I got to the metal rolls that can be used to climb up to plant I was getting shot from the guy at containers. I threw a nade and saw 2 more coming from the CT spawn. THEN I went underground in the first entrance after you turn left at the metal rolls to take COVER. I did not go underground instead of rushing.
3. I wasnt being a smartass, I dont know where you get that from. Go ahead and check the logs you'll see that I only typed to explain why I was taking cover because I only had 12hp left.
Before the third time you slayed me, you typed that I apparently hadnt understand and that I need to sit it out, something like that, and then you slayed me.
I would also like for another admin to go ahead and check the logs and you will find that explaining why I was taking cover is not being a smartass.

Funny, you dropped the bomb and left spawn at the exact same time the entire team did. I know because I was watching radar at spawn while running. I saw you drop it then run. Bad excuse.

2. Poor excuse, the way the spawn is setup on port everyone has plenty of time to rush silos. I was in the back of spawn but ended up being the first into the bomb site. What are you talking about ct's coming from spawn. Their spawn is on the other side of the map. Give it a rest. The reality is you went under ground because you thought your were going to die instead of helping the bomber in the site try and plant. Plus you would have had to been underground quite a while. Long enough for me to completely rush all the way to the right of containers and up into the site. How did I make through the containers and you didn't? I find your story hard to believe.

3. If I recall the reason someone said you were about to get banned was your choice of words to the admin. Choose your words carefully. I was not the only admin on at the time, and can assure you that your play at innocence will not help you here.

Better to admit your mistake and move on.

Thats not true at all. Like I said I gave the bomb to someone else at the freeze/buy time. How could I have dropped it and run if it was the freeze/buy time. And then I moved away because I spawned where you can get killed from the double doors.

2. Im talking about the ct's coming from THEIR spawn. I'm sure you know that not all ct's rush the boat all the time. Some rush to silos to get on top of them. And when ct's rush to that ramp where the metal rolls are, they can get to the containers at about the same time as the T's rushing silos. And that is something you can test. Like I said I first rushed to the metal rolls and the guy was shooting at me from containers. Am I just suppose to let him kill me? What good is a dead teammate? Or is it that you are not allowed to take cover when you are getting shot by three people? And I find it hard to believe that you ran all the way to the containers when there was someone there and he was shooting at us and was 1 of the 2 I killed before getting slayed.

3. This is what I said "I was just taking cover because I had 12 left." Then I typed "12hp". Like I said look it up on the logs and you will see that I am not lying. What part of that do you find offensive or disrespectful? I played in the TTP servers for a long time and this is the first time I had any problems with admins. I have also played a lot on the BF2:PR server and never had any problems there, and they are much tougher admins.
The only mistake I made was to not communicate when I went mid instead of rushing boat. And like I said that slay was justified.

You dropped it after the buy time if I recall. The point is, if you have played here for how you say you have then you know we don't drop the bomb here. Everyone else has the same time to buy as you do. This is important because the person you drop it to may be afk, new or may not follow the call. I still find that very hard to believe.

2. I absolutely ran by containers. I do almost every time I rush silos. That or I go over with the bomb. And yes I made it into the bombsite. Interesting huh. I was in the back of spawn, got in front of my team, ran by silos to help the bomb in the site. Amazing isn't it. Where were you?

What I understand from reading your post is that even if you are wrong, and you are, you are not going to change your mind. So I see no point in continuing to argue with you.

As you can see, you claimed to be respectful, but from what I bolded, that sounds pretty much like you were talking back to an admin in the wrong tone. Would you say "wtf" to an authoratative figure at school? Would you say "wtf" to a police officer? Its the same thing here. Scrum was clearly trying to get the team to rush together and you went your own way and once you got slayed you answered disrespectfully. What you did brought focus from all 3 admins on at the time and there was much discussion of you in the logs that i will not post. Bottom line is that you brought this upon yourself. All you had to do is just put the slay behind you and respond in a more respectful tone. No one gets happy when they get slayed, but its how you play after that really sets the good teamplayers from the rest. I believe you are a good teamplayer and should just put this all behind you and return to the servers with a good attitude and ready to play and have a good time.

Choice is yours....we can keep pushing this further, or we can lock it up and game on.

I have been a gamer for along time and I have seen the acronym "wtf" used online in many, many different instances, that it has become a very common expression to use, thus loosing its derogatory meaning. It has become like omg or lol. And if you get offended by that then you must be more sensible then I thought you were. But I guess that is something else entirely. Like I said no matter what I say he is not going to change his mind, so close this thread.
