1st round:

Spurs vs. Griz
Lakers vs. Hornets
Mavs vs. Blazers
Thunder vs. Nuggets

Bulls vs. Pacers
Heat vs. 76ers
Celtics vs. Knicks
Magic vs. Hawks

pretty boring first round IMO. higher seed wins all series. spurs/griz, thunder/nugs, celtics/knicks. look to be the most exciting to me.

Forgot where I read this but the 5th seed has the better overall record against the 4th seed. Also this was about 5-6 yrs ago, and they only had a +5-7 game advantage. Maybe by now the 4th seed has the better record.

One more thing, the Mavs vs Blazers looks intriguing. Will the Mavs make it out the first round?

yeah its happened because top team in each division is guaranteed to be placed in top 4 seeds. so if one division has 3+ bad ass teams (southwest) then top 2 teams will be in top 4 while the 3rd best will be 5th seed no matter what.

I hate the fact that the teams i like like the mavs have to play a team who i halfway like in the blazers. i really like former UT longhorn Lamarcus aldrigde. i really hope he doesnt win this series for the Blazers though.

I will be super pissed if the lakers or heat wins it this year. If it is a finals match between those two teams i guess i cant complain. lebron vs kobe for a possible 7 games would be entertaining. i really hope it doesnt happen, although i bet it does. Heat in 7.

Anyone else disappointed in the Celtics v Knicks match up? That was the one match up I was looking forward to watching the whole series, but it seems like Knicks cant handle the BIG 4 =[ with their own BIG 3. I'm a bit disappointed since they are about to get clean sweeped.
