It has Star Marine FPS action, which is good.
    End of line.

Lumberyard was a funny surprise. No talk about it at all beforehand, not even in the PTU. Then suddenly everyone finds out on release when it appears in the loading splash screen.

The Caterpillar is a nice ship, and Pirate Swarm is kinda difficult.

I like that the Vanguard is a useful ship now, but the easy supply of missiles in Arena Commander has upset that balance.

Star Marine has good, 3 dimensional stations in zero gravity, but the objectives are all on the same 2 dimensional plane, mostly with gravity, which wastes so much of the map and what makes the combat special, in my opinion.

3.0 is basically the god patch to the community. I am trying not to get sucked into all that hype because I don't want to be too disappointed if Star Network 1.0 isn't as amazing as people want to believe it will be.
