Moar Hats(March 19th update)

March 19, 2010 - Team Fortress 2 Update Released

Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Team Fortress 2

Updated the new community-built hats so they can be crafted

Updated the Camera Beard and Medic Mask so they can be crafted as hats

I just crafted away 5 beards the other night for ... 3 scrap metals? ANd now that would be 2.5 random hats?

sorry i lol'ed I've got a couple of those damn camera beards. Your failure will be my success. Had I not read this I would have scrapped them too....

So wait, does my camera beard act as a hat now, so i can combine it with another hat and get a new hat?

I hope so, I got a Trophy Belt when I already have the Professional's Panama. I'd like to try getting another hat with the beard.

Of course, it's probably going to wind up being something like hatless Sniper, but it's worth a try.

Yup, they turned beards back into hats again. What a ripoff. I have crafted probably well over a dozen beards for scrap in the past couple months. Six free hats gone.
